Papoose

A short but steep climbers trail ascends to the Papoose summit.
This route is seldomly used by hikers, but is very popular for climbers.
Parking is at the Shannon Falls Trailhead.
The route is not an official trail and a map is recommended.
It takes about 10 minutes of walking to reach the summit. From here you gain a rare view of the Chief and Garibaldi looking north.
I watched a Squamish SAR operation at Shannon Falls Pools involving multiple short-haul helicopter evacuations.
