For 52 years, the Wedgemount Glacier Monitoring Project has documented the retreat of the Wedgemount Glacier—located on the highest peak in Garibaldi Provincial Park, in Whistler, BC. Since 1972, the glacier has receded over 700 metres (averaging 14 metres per year)
